Awesome, Lanna! My friend is leaving tomorrow for the Peace Corps in China! I worked in retail from high school through college- every day in retail is interesting.
I worked with the Colorado National Forest Service for a couple of months. We were hiking into the mountains and making path to divert water to a needed area. They wanted to use manual labor rather than machines to lower the environmental impact.
Ha, Ha, Heather, totally relate. Worked for Nordstrom for a Christmas season; it WAS interesting. I remember one guy lifting a crystal clock from the display, taking off the price tag, and proceeding to try to get cash back saying it was a "gift." Cops nailed him at the GAP an hour later.
I was in the Peace Corps in Peru for three months working with farmers, teaching them business and such. Then Jesus told me to come home, so I did.
