My family has a tradition of playing a Scottish bagpipe CD to begin Christmas morning each year; we blast track 1 (Amazing Grace) at around 7:00am. A few years ago, much to the chagrin and confusion of the relatives staying in our basement, my dad played the song through every speaker in the house (including downstairs), and my uncle was so startled and groggy upon waking that he collided with my grandpa trying to figure out where he was and what was going on.
It was literally sensational. Good reunion conversation.
